Hello YouNow Community,
We’d like to take a moment to share an update with you and talk about what’s ahead, with openness, clarity, and optimism.
After many years with YouNow, Jon has decided to step away from his role to pursue new personal and professional opportunities. We thank him for his leadership and for the contributions he made alongside the community over the years.
Looking ahead, the heart of YouNow will continue to be the community and the team that supports it every day. The community team will take a leading role in shaping how YouNow grows, evolves, and connects people around the world.
Leadership will remain collaborative and largely behind the scenes, focused on supporting the community team, strengthening the platform, and enabling YouNow to move forward together
Community remains at the heart of YouNow; always has, always will.
Annie will continue in her role as Head of Communities and Operations, acting as the main point of connection between the community, partners, support teams, and leadership. Many of you already know Annie well, and her role reflects the way YouNow prefers to move forward: through listening, dialogue, and trust. Her focus will be on gathering feedback, aligning priorities, and ensuring communication across the platform remains clear, transparent, and human; the way it should be.
Each market will continue to be supported by dedicated Partner Managers.
Alongside this structure, YouNow’s Ambassadors will continue to play a key role within the platform. Ambassadors are one of our strongest pillars and help represent the spirit of YouNow across the community. They support creators and users, help guide conversations, reinforce positive community values, and work closely with the YouNow team to surface feedback, concerns, and ideas. They are trusted points of connection between users and the platform.
In addition, YouNow will be expanding its moderation team to further reinforce a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for everyone.
This new chapter also brings several positive changes and improvements, including:
More consistent and open communication across official channels
Increased activity and updates on Instagram
New feedback and communication channel launching soon
A stronger focus on community-driven initiatives and platform improvements
We are also introducing this space as the new Official YouNow Wall. We know many of you were used to sharing thoughts, feedback, and concerns openly in the past, and we want to preserve that spirit. This wall remains a place where you can express opinions, ideas, and reactions; and yes, we’ll be reading.
